What will you learn in the Automotive Vehicle Body (Specialising in Vehicle Trimming)course?
This nationally recognised course is for vehicle trimming apprentices or people that have entered into a relevant contract of training. In this course you will learn:
•Occupational health and safety
•Facts about environmental issues
•Communications and teamwork skills
•How to set up, operate and maintain motor trimming equipment
•How to carry out sewing and trimming repairs and alterations
•How to remove and replace vehicle interior trim and fabricate and install items such as loose and fitted covers, marine covers, canvas products, frame structures, floor coverings, hoods, canopies and curtains. | |

At Ultimo you can also enrol in program Selected Studies in Vehicle Trimming.
This program is available for persons working in an allied trade of Vehicle Trimming, such as panelbeating, spraypainting, mechanics, canvas workers, leather workers, upholsterers, sailmakers to gain skills in assisting them with their current employment. Program currently runs on a Wednesday evening between 5.30pm-9.30pm. Students do 3 subjects from trade course. | |
