Ben wanted to expand the landscaping business he runs with his wife so went to TAFE to gain building qualifications.

“Completing the Building Studies Diploma gave me the skills that I needed. As well as building, it has given me good ideas as how to run my business. Many of the teachers were builders or tradesmen themselves, and could give realistic on-site examples of the subjects they were teaching, which made it easier to comprehend.”

Jessica gained work with clothing label Interwool as a result of her Diploma. Eventually Jessica wants to start her own label.

“I always wanted to get into fashion and Sydney Institute had a great reputation so it was my first choice. The course taught me everything I needed to know to go straight to work in the industry, helped me tap into my creativity and develop my own style.”

Scott had been overseas for a couple of years and when he returned decided to study Graphic Design.
