To ensure all students have an equal opportunity to participate in Sydney Institute courses, we provide a wide range of support to help people with disabilities achieve their educational and career goals.

Library services for students with disabilities

Support services available at Sydney Institute campus libraries include:

TTY – telephone typewriter for students with a hearing impairment (Design Centre Enmore, St George, Petersham and Ultimo)
Kurtzweil Scanner to provide speech and large print output (Ultimo)
CCTV – closed-circuit television to enlarge printed material (Ultimo)
Zoomtext large print software
wheelchair access (Design Centre Enmore, Eora, Petersham, Randwick, St George, Sutherland, Ultimo)
large print books and audiotapes.

Ultimo College library has an Adaptive Technology Access Centre (ATAC). You can contact all college libraries for more information on access to adaptive technology.
