Getting physical comes with some great benefits – you look and feel good, you have fun with friends, but more importantly it offers you loads of health benefits.
The TAFEActive program has been designed by TAFE NSW Student Associations to help fight the decline in physical activity amongst the Australian population – including TAFE and other tertiary sector students – and the negative impact it’s having on our community.
TAFEActive can provide you with information about:
the benefits moderate physical activity can have on your wellbeing
opportunities to get active in your local community.
The Student Association is focused on four key areas this year:
the importance of getting active
nutrition
team sports
general fitness.
