Sydney Institute offers Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students many courses, programs and services to help gain the skills, knowledge and confidence to secure a great job or move into higher education.
Aboriginal Education and Training Unit
The
Aboriginal Education and Training Unit provides services for
Sydney Institute students and staff. The Unit’s Institute Aboriginal coordinators are available to provide students with advice and support while studying at our colleges.
Eora College
Eora College is the main centre of performing arts training and education for people of an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander background. They offer courses for school leavers and high school students, plus community based programs, business programs, short courses and nationally accredited programs to build on existing skills and develop new skills for the changing workforce.
Study on-campus, off-campus and in your local community
Our colleges offer specially designed courses in everything from bar and beverage skills, introduction to computers and commercial cookery, to committee management, communications and small business skills. Many of the courses can be run off-campus in local communities.
