Who can borrow?

TAFE NSW students and staff

all currently enrolled TAFE NSW students and all staff can borrow from any library within the TAFE NSW library network
proof of enrolment or proof of current employment is required

Students and staff from other institutions
We have reciprocal borrowing agreements with the following institutions:

National Art School (NAS) – no membership fee
University of Technology Sydney (UTS) – $50.00 membership fee

Community members

community members may become members of their local TAFE NSW library
by paying a fee

Renew your library items online

To renew your library items you will need your

TAFEcard barcode
library PIN (password) – if you do not have a library PIN please contact your TAFE college library

Go to the TAFE NSW Library Catalogue – 'My account – renew my materials' feature to renew (extend) the loan period for your library items.

Overdue library items cannot be renewed online. If you have overdue items you will need to contact your college library.

Interlibrary loans

This service is available to Sydney Institute students and staff. Requests should be made at the library of the College where patrons are enrolled/employed.

Please allow up to 10 working days for supply.

Charges and penalties

The library is committed to the fair sharing of resources between library patrons. For this reason the library has a penalty process for late returns. Please contact your college library for details.
