National Art School (NAS) students and staff can borrow from all Sydney Institute college libraries
University of Technology (UTS) students and staff can borow from seven (7) Sydney Institute college libraries, with the exception of the Eora College library

How to apply
At the Sydney Institute college library you wish to join:
Present your current UTS student/staff card and photo ID to Library staff at the Loans/Information Desk
Take the registration paperwork provided by Library staff to the TAFE Cashier
Pay the $50.00 fee to the TAFE Cashier – see payment methods
Return to the Library with your payment receipt
On presentation of your payment receipt Library staff will complete the registration process and issue you with a Sydney Institute library card
What can I borrow and can I renew my items?
Registered UTS students and staff can:
borrow up to 10 items from the lending collection
renew items twice, if they are not reserved (on hold)
telephone or visit the library from where you borrowed the items to renew them
Service exclusions
Reciprocal borrowers from UTS cannot access the following collections and services:
audiovisual materials
Eora College library
group study rooms
inter-college document delivery
inter-library loans service
reservations (holds)
Sydney Institute Computer network except for the TAFE NSW library catalogue

To join the NAS Library as a reciprocal borrower, Sydney Institute students and staff need to present a current Sydney Institute TAFEcard.
How to join the UTS library
This information is for current Sydney institute staff and students. To join the UTS Library as a reciprocal borrower:
You must have a current Sydney Institute TAFEcard
Be a registered Sydney Institute library user – you can register at your college library on presentation of your TAFEcard
Have an authorised printout of your TAFE NSW library record to prove you are a library member of good standing – you can request an authorised copy from your college library
Present your TAFEcard and authorised library printout to UTS library staff
