Study tours

Why choose a Sydney Institute study tour?

Study tours can be offered in a wide range of vocational subjects and for a range of clients, including students as young as 15. English language study tours are also very popular. All study tours can include industry visits relating to the program of study as well as cultural site visits, providing clients with an introduction to Australian culture and the opportunity to see some of the beautiful sights of Sydney and the surrounding regions.

We work with your organisation to ensure the needs of your students or client are met. As all of our programs are fully customised a proposal, including a quote and program schedule, will be developed specifically for you. Our classes focus on practical skills and we have strong links with industry which are built into our study tour programs where relevant.

A range of additional services can be offered if required, including airport transfers and accommodation.

Delegation visits

Sydney Institute also regularly hosts delegations from international governments and educational institutes. Delegates often come to us to learn about the Vocational Education and Training (VET) system in Australia for which we design customised programs, or other executive training programs as required.

As with study tours, a range of additional services can be offered to delegations if required, including airport transfers and accommodation.

Plan your study tour or delegation visit

It is never too early to plan your tour! We often receive requests for tours up to two years in advance. We generally require a minimum of 6 weeks development time from the date the program contract is signed.

Please contact us to discuss your specific requirements. Be sure to include the following information in your enquiry so we can get back to you quickly:
  • proposed area of study
  • students’ previous experience in the proposed area of study
  • intended program dates
  • number of students (and ages if under 18)
  • industry visits and/or cultural visits required
  • accommodation and/or airport transfers required.
Once we have received this information from you, we will develop a proposal and quote for you. There is no obligation during this process. A signed contract is required before formal planning of the program can begin, and which time an invoice will be issued. Payment requirements vary depending on the program start date.
