Do I need to attend an information session or submit an application form?
Some Hospitality training programs require attendance at a compulsory information session prior to enrolment. Some training programs require an application form to be submitted. Details can be found in the hospitality course information for your course.
Our hospitality courses are industry skills and practices focused and we have strong partnerships and associations with all sectors of the Hospitality industry. Depending on the employer/industry area, career progression may be quick for those with the appropriate knowledge, skills and work outlook. There are a wide range of hospitality career opportunities available within all sectors of the Hospitality industry.
I'm a high school student - do you offer TVET courses?
Yes. The Hospitality teaching section at Ultimo College currently offers the following TAFE for Schools/TVET Industry Curriculum Framework (ICF) courses:

TVET courses allow you to study at TAFE while still at school. Most TVET courses articulate into further TAFE NSW or university studies.
TVET students who successfully complete a TAFE NSW TVET course will receive a nationally-recognised qualification, TAFE NSW Statement, or Transcript of Academic Record.
Can I receive credit for my TAFE course at University?
Yes, there are pathways from TAFE NSW to university. Please contact your university of choice to confirm current and specific articulation arrangements.
Can I study for a degree in hospitalilty at Ultimo College?
We offer a Bachelor of Hospitality Management in partnership with The University of Ballarat. It has been developed to meet the global demand for senior hospitality managers and will prepare graduates with the skills, knowledge and attributes needed to undertake a wide variety of professional hospitality positions.
The Advanced Diploma Hospitality Management is a pre-requisite for selection into this course. The degree course is delivered flexibly at Ultimo College over two (2) semesters and students will need to complete eight (8) units of study. After completion of this course students will be able to enrol in postgraduate studies in management or business administration.
