Eora College is a vibrant, professional, community focused education centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. We are one of seven Sydney Institute colleges. You may also know us as the Eora Centre or Eora TAFE.

What does Eora mean?

Eora takes its name from the Gadigal language of the Aboriginal nation that originally inhabited the Port Jackson area around Sydney Harbour.

Our courses

Our graduates

Eora graduates have built successful careers in television production, stage management, TV and stage performance, poetry, playwriting, animation and rock music. Our artists are represented in many public and private collections. We can help you follow your passion too.

You will learn from teachers with years of professional industry experience, who will help you gain the skills, confidence and qualifications needed to reach your goal – in our excellent college facilities or at your workplace.

Aboriginal cultural education programs for business

Eora College provides some of the best indigenous cultural training in Australia. We train staff and management how to negotiate cross-cultural environments, offering field trips and classroom formats. Our staff have vast experience in developing and delivering Aboriginal cultural education programs and consulting services for all businesses, from sole traders to large corporations.

We are government-funded so our business partners and students have peace of mind whatever the economic climate.
