Who can re-enrol online?

All students except temporary visa holders, new apprentices and trainees.

Do I need to re-enrol?

To complete your studies in the same course, you need to re-enrol. To re-enrol you must:
  • accept your place by phone or online
  • pay by the date specified in your course offer letter, or apply for an exemption.
It’s very important that you pay by the due date or your place may be offered to another student. Click here for payment options.

How do I re-enrol online?

  1. Visit the TAFE NSW website: www.tafensw.edu.au/eservices.
  2. Select Student log on to accept your course offer. Your username and password to access e-Services is displayed in your offer letter.
  3. Answer the ‘key questions’ and complete the student declaration.
  4. Accept the terms and conditions (enclosed with your letter).
  5. Nominate the fees you will be paying.
  6. Select your preferred payment method and complete payment.

Applying for exemptions and concessions

Am I eligible?

  • You may be eligible for an exemption or concession if you receive Centrelink or Veterans’ Affairs benefits or have a disability.
  • Students granted a concession because they are receiving Centrelink or Veterans’ Affairs benefits will be required to pay a concession fee.
  • If you would like to apply for an exemption or concession from the TAFE NSW fee contact your college.

Centrelink/Veterans’ Affairs benefit receivers

You may be eligible to apply for a fee exemption if you receive a benefit or allowance from an organisation such as Centrelink or the Department of Veterans’ Affairs. You will need to provide:

  • a copy of correspondence with the organisation within two weeks of enrolment
  • recent evidence of receiving a benefit.

Note: If you are receiving the Family Tax Benefit (Part A), the documentation from Centrelink MUST confirm you are receiving the maximum rate.

How to apply: To apply for a fee exemption you will need to contact your college.

Students with a disability

Students registered with a TAFE NSW disability teacher/consultant may be granted an exemption from the TAFE NSW fee.

How to register with a TAFE NSW disability teacher/consultant

  1. Contact the Disability Unit at the college at which you wish to enrol to register with a disability teacher/consultant.
  2. Your enrolment and TAFE NSW fee exemption will NOT be finalised until you complete this registration.
  3. Please note: the fee exemption will only apply to the TAFE NSW fee.

How do I pay for my re-enrolment?

Payment options

  • If you are undertaking a full year enrolment (in courses longer than one semester) you may have the option of paying your full year TAFE NSW fee in two half year instalments.
  • Your Fee Notification shows both the full year and half-yearly payment for the course in which you are going to re-enrol.

By phone

To pay by phone please contact your college of enrolment.

On the internet by credit card

Log on to the www.tafensw.edu.au/eservices following the steps in "How do I re-enrol" above and pay by MasterCard or Visa. You can print your TAFE NSW Tax Invoice (receipt) after payment has been accepted. Your Tax Invoice will contain the Next Step information details such as the day you are to return and meet with teaching staff – read this information carefully.

BPAY

Use the Biller Code and Reference Number located on the bottom of your Fee Notification. You will receive a TAFE NSW Tax Invoice (receipt) in the mail detailing the Next Step information (i.e. the day you are to return and meet with teaching staff) – read this information carefully.

Australia Post Office

  • You can pay by cash, EFTPOS, credit card, cheque or money order.
  • Please make your cheque or money order payable to TAFE NSW.
  • Write your name, student number and notification number on the reverse of the cheque or money order.
  • You will receive a Tax Invoice (receipt) in the mail detailing the Next Step information (i.e. the day you are to return and meet with teaching staff) – you must read this information carefully.

Re-enrolments that can't be completed online

Temporary visa holders

As a temporary visa holder you:

  • can accept your offer online
  • cannot complete your re-enrolment online
  • may be required to pay the TAFE NSW fee as well as tuition fees calculated on a per module/unit charge rate
  • need to provide your passport or documentation from DIMIA showing your current visa status. Certified copies of documents may also be accepted
  • should contact your College Student Administration office for more information.

Apprentices and trainees

Your employer can pay your re-enrolment fees by phone, BPAY, mail and at Australia Post. If they received an invoice for your fees last year and wish to be invoiced again for the past semester, please contact your college of enrolment.
