Before you enrol
Before you enrol you may be required to:
- attend an interview
- submit a portfolio
- sit for a test
- take part in an audition
- attend a compulsory pre-enrolment information session.
Some courses may also have entry requirements.
Some high demand courses require you to apply using the TAFE NSW application form. If your course requires an
application, see the further information provided about this process.

How to enrol
Some courses offer online enrolment, and other courses require you to enrol on campus.
If your course is enrolling on campus and you are unable to enrol in person, you can authorise someone else to enrol on your behalf by completing the
Enrolment by proxy nomination form (PDF file, 145KB).

Online enrolment
You can enrol in some Semester Two, 2012 courses online. Some courses require you to register through the ‘Apply now’ button as a first step. For other courses you can simply enrol online through the ‘Enrol now’ button.
Look for the ‘Apply now’ and ‘Enrol now’ buttons in the ‘Location and fees’ tab of your course.
You can complete your enrolment by:
- paying the TAFE NSW fee or
- having your application for the TAFE NSW concession fee approved and paying it or
- having your application for a TAFE NSW fee exemption approved.

Payment options include cheque, money order, EFTPOS, MasterCard, Visa, BPay and Postbillpay. If you prefer, you can make your payment on campus. TAFE NSW does not accept cash.
If you have enrolled online, remember on the first day of class to take the necessary documentation with you to show evidence that you meet entry requirements. You may be asked to provide original documentation, not photocopies, so make sure you have the originals with you. You may also need to provide documentation to support claims for
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).

On campus enrolment
The on campus enrolment date for 2012 Semester 2 is Wednesday, 27 June 2012.
