Fees and costs for our English courses

Application fees

Student visa applicants must pay a non-refundable processing fee of AUD$150 by credit card, bank draft or bank cheque made payable to TAFE NSW. The fee for other applicants is AUD$75.

Payment of tuition fees

Tuition fees for English language courses must be paid in full by bank draft or bank cheque before the start of a course. Part payment is not accepted. TAFE NSW will not be responsible for any money paid directly to an agent. Tuition fees cover the charges for tuition and administration only. They do not cover the application fee, accommodation, living expenses, stationery or excursions.

Living costs

You should allow approximately AUD$1000 per month for living expenses and AUD$150 per month for local transport, course related excursions and stationery. There is no textbook fee. All students should have a dictionary. These can be bought in Australia and cost around AUD$20.00.
