18 years old + HSC or equivalent qualification or skills, and must have a basic level of computer literacy. Applicants should contact 3D animation at the Design centre Enmore to discuss practical entry requirements.

This course will teach you the skills and knowledge required to work in the 3D animation and digital effects sector of the TV, film and video industries. This program will give you a solid grounding in the basics of 3D modelling, animation, lighting and shading, using a variety of techniques available in Maya.

Innovative and industry focussed, this training course also covers relevant Occupational Health and Safety requirements.

Trainee 3D Animator, Trainee 3D Modeller.

On successful completion of this course, students are eligible for articulation into the following courses:
7596 - CERTIFICATE IV IN 3D ANIMATION AND DIGITAL EFFECTS
19200 - DIPLOMA IN 3D ANIMATION AND DIGITAL EFFECTS.
