Work placement opportunities

In 2010 we will offer over 240 courses with work placement opportunities, either as compulsory or elective modules, as part of the training program. Work placements give you the chance to gain the practical skills and relevant industry experience that are essential in today's tough job climate.

Current examples of student work placements include:

• clinical placement arrangements with Ramsay Health and St George Public Hospital
• placements with Mirvac for for building and architectural technology course students
  
• practical visual merchandise experience with David Jones and Sheridan for visual merchandising course students
  
• placements with the Accor Group for for hospitality course students.
  

Don’t worry if your chosen course doesn’t offer a formal placement arrangement. Sydney Institute also provides a comprehensive job placement service, Careers Connect, for all students. Careers Connect has over 1000 employers advertising exclusive employment opportunities every year.
