Wilkinson Green is a living Classroom connected to Petersham TAFE outreach, where crops are harvested, chickens raised and natural products produced. More


Reducing waste and producing energy – Pulpmaster Pro

The organic waste produced by the hospitality classes at the Loftus campus of Sutherland College are disposed of using the pulpmaster pro. The pulpmaster converts organic waste into bio fuel, preventing the waste being sent to landfill, reducing plastic bag use and producing energy to be redirected into the electricity grid. More


Working together to make it happen – industry partnerships

Sydney Institute actively pursues value adding partnerships to promote sustainable outcomes. Currently, Sydney Institute participates in active partnerships with: Sydney Water, Department of Environment and Climate Change, University of New South Wales, University of Technology Sydney and Marrickville Council.
