What courses are available?
The Ceramic Design Studio (the Studio),

ceramics courses at Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma level.

How many classes do I need to attend each week?
This will depend on the course you are enrolled in.
Read the course brochure for each ceramics course for specific information.

What tools and equipment would I need?
A starter’s tool kit is available from the college for a nominal fee. The material fee covers basic glaze and clay requirements. As you progress through the course you will also be required to bring some drawing materials such as pencils, paper, brushes, ink, notebook and other miscellaneous tools.

If I move to a different college or take a break can I resume my studies at the Studio?
Yes, there is full articulation between all TAFE NSW ceramics courses and records are kept to allow students to pick up their studies from where they left off.

Can I gain advanced standing in a university course with my TAFE course?
Yes, it depends on the level of your achievement at TAFE; some university courses allow an advanced standing of one or two years into their degree courses.
